What can I expect during my first session?

 

​      During our first few sessions, I'll ask about your current concerns and what is contributing to them. We'll also establish your goals for therapy & what you'd like your future to be.  That way we have a roadmap for where we are going.   We'll also explore your strengths.  Therapy with me is very collaborative.  I will listen, ask questions & provide supportive feedback.

 
Session Fees?

 

        The fee for a session is $150.  Payment is expected at time of service.  

 

Do you take insurance?

 

       Yes, I  take Anthem insurance.

 

      For all other insurances, I am an out of network provider.  I can provide you with an invoice (called a Superbill) that you can submit to your insurance provider for possible reimbursement.  Our session fee may be partially reimbursed or used towards meeting a deductible,  It is best to contact your insurance provider prior to starting therapy to verify what will be covered by your plan.  

QUESTIONS TO ASK YOUR INSURANCE PROVIDER:

1. Do I have Out of Network behavioral health benefits?

2. Do I have a deductible, how much is it and has it been met?

3. What is my Out of Network reimbursement rate per session?

4. How many sessions are covered per calendar year?

 

Do you offer sliding scale appointments?

 

    Yes, if you would like to work together & need accomodations on the session fee, please reach out to discuss.

 

Office Location & Logistics

 

     My office is located in the neighborhood of Playa Vista.  The address is 12777 West Jefferson Blvd, Los Angeles, CA., 90066.  There is free street parking next to the building, one block away on McConnell Ave. Some clients choose to park at the Whole Foods across the street.  There is also a pay lot directly in front of the building.

 

Do you offer Teletherapy Sessions?

 

    Yes! Right now, I am only offering telehealth sessions (video or phone).  I have a HIPAA compliant secure platform I use.


 

What is your late cancellation policy?


        If you need to cancel, please give 24-hour notice. If you do not give 24-hour notice, you may be responsible for your full fee.  Please call or text, 310-554-8670, to cancel.
